FARM ROVING - Alpaca / BFL - Roving from SNOWBALL - White

This roving is made from "SNOWBALL", one of our herdsires here at Alma Park.  He has long, soft fiber and a LOT of it.  He is a shy boy who is not that interested in people, but is a beautiful, soft, dense boy who makes lovely yarn and fiber products as well as babies! 

This is roving and is beautifully prepared and super soft.  It is pin drafted and a pleasure to spin.

• 4 oz in a braid
• roving - pin drafted
• 80% alpaca | 20% BFL 
• Grade 3 (superfine grade) micron approx 23-26 microns
• next to skin OH SO soft 
• some VM which should fall out when spinning
• no neps or noils 
• mill processed 
• staple length - approx ~4 inches
• white

The roving is light and airy and drafts beautifully. It almost spins itself. It also felts incredibly well. It is pin drafted roving so it drafts more like top than regular roving.
