Jacob is a primitive sheep breed. All the way from the UK, this wool is in the 26-31 Micron range. Its staple length is 3.5 inch (90 mm) and is perfect for a long draw, . This lofty wool produces a springy quality to the yarn. Natural color, chocolately with black undertones, described best as bay black. It has white fibers running through it and spins up into a nice heathery yarn. It is beautiful and fun to spin !!!
