A little more about his wool :
This very old breed of sheep originated in the village of Rambouillet, France in 1786. Also known as French Merino, it has a micron count of 20-23 and a staple length of 3.75”, which it makes it easier to spin than traditional merino, which is about an inch shorter. Very nice crimp and smooshy. Great for spinning or felting.
This is top not roving. Top goes through an extra step to carefully align all the fibers in the same direction. Top is considered the highest quality spinning prep.
