This "Chocolate Brown Striped" roving is made from the fiber of BLAZE, a young male from our herd. Blaze was named this because of the blaze of white fiber on his face. He is from one of our favorite herdsires of all time, Multomba (now deceased) and will be a herdsire of his own in the near future. The pic is from him out on a walk at a PR event. Fiber on his ear tips just like his dad.
He has wonderfully soft silky fiber with a nice buttery handle. I then mixed with Merino and Silk to make an even more luscious "want to spin" me blend. This fiber is so light and airy it almost drafts itself. This is pin drafted roving and because of the silk mixed in is more like the best "top" you can find.
